WARDED TO HARRIETTA CREEVEY I feel like I haven't spoken to you in forever. What have you been up to? | | Thursday, June 2nd, 2011 | | 2:20 am |
I might be in the minority, but I missed being at Hogwarts. Quite a bit. It's nice to be back.
WARDED TO CARTER INNESS: What happened with you and Caroline the other night? | | Friday, May 6th, 2011 | | 8:11 pm |
WARDED TO ADAM, CARTER, OLIVER AND AUSTIN: Anyone have any problem with leaving for Spain on Tuesday? I couldn't do it before the Debutante Ball was over. It would be from one Tuesday to the next Tuesday. | | Tuesday, April 5th, 2011 | | 10:03 pm |
WARDED TO NOLAND RUNCORN: Have you been secured as a date to the debutante ball yet?
WARDED TO CASPAR HARPER: Have you been secured as a date to the debutante ball yet? Like you'll even g
WARDED TO CARTER, ADAM & AUSTIN: I have to locate an appropriate date and attend a debutante ball this summer. I sincerely dislike the summer sometimes. | | Saturday, March 12th, 2011 | | 12:05 am |
CONGRATULATIONS, HOGWARTS! No more exams. Until next year, anyway. And, of course, for the seventh years, never again. Lucky bastards. It's time to toss your books out, sleep through the next day or two, and prepare for the summer. For those of you who aren't burning your books in celebration, I'll buy them from you. The same goes for notes, though if you're not interested in selling them, I highly encourage you to donate them to the Tutoring Center for those students who might need them next year. What might do you no good in the future, may save the figurative life of tomorrow's youth, etc, etc.
WARDED TO GABBY, SONIA, AND ROSE: Party Monday night, anyone? Room of Requirement. Invite those capable of not being caught by prefects.
WARDED TO AUSTIN, ADAM, AND CARTER: I'm throwing a party Monday night in the Room of Requirement. Invite whoever you want. I'm operating on a word of mouth invite, because I can't be bothered to figure out who is worth inviting and who isn't. I'm letting those I trust know and they ought to do the same.
Also, we're leaving for Spain on July 1st, unless anyone has any issues with that. Which reminds me, Austin, are you coming?
WARDED TO CAROLINE VAISEY AND ROSALYN FLINT: I'm throwing a party in the Room of Requirement Monday night. Bring whoever you'd like.
WARDED TO CHRISTOPHER BLETCHLEY: I need enough booze to get a room full of people drunk off their arses. | | Thursday, February 10th, 2011 | | 1:50 am |
WARDED TO NANETTE COOTE, SONIA PREWETT & SHANNON INNESS: There is an envelope on top of each of your beds with your portion of the profits from the masks we made.
WARDED TO CARTER, ADAM & AUSTIN: I say we throw a party. What's your preference, before or after the exams?
WARDED AGAINST HEADS/PREFECTS & SHILOH WOOD: The final Quidditch match of the year is nearly here, Hogwarts.
THE GRYFFINDOR QUIDDITCH TEAM The Gryffindor Quidditch team is captained by Shiloh Wood. With four wins and only two losses under their belts, the team's got a fighting chance in the finals. They've made a cumulative 1,360 points this year. 76 goals were made by the Gryffindor chasers and the Gryffindor Seeker, Felicity Macmillan, caught the snitch 4 times.
THE RAVENCLAW QUIDDITCH TEAM The Ravenclaw Quidditch team is captained by Devin Finnigan. With four wins and, sadly, one more loss than the Gryffindor team under their belts, they're looking at at a pretty intense game this Saturday. The team has made a cumulative 1,430 points this year. 83 goals were made by the Ravenclaw chasers and the Ravenclaw Seeker, Bai Corner, caught the snitch 4 times. |
Are you impressed by both of these teams? I know I am. Gryffindor averages 230 points per game, whereas Ravenclaw averages 200 points per game. Do you support the lions or the eagles? Will you show your support by betting for your favourite teams, showing your dedication and faith in them? Remember, seventh years, this is the last opportunity for you to make a wager on your House teams. The end of the year is nearly here. END WARDS. Did everyone enjoy the ball? I certainly enjoyed myself. I'm also half-expecting another poster to go up any day now, announcing a last minute Farewell Ball to see off the seventh years with. We do seem to be piling them on this year. | | Sunday, January 16th, 2011 | | 11:37 am |
Good morning, Hogwarts.
It's come to my attention that there's a masquerade ball coming up next month, which I find to be absolutely brilliant. But with every masquerade ball, there becomes a need for certain things: dresses, masks, flowers, dates, etc. Fortunately, I can help you out with two of these needs. I've put together a group of the very best artists to design masks this month. As for the other need being met, I'm also selling corsages, boutonnières, and bouquets.
When making your requests for masks, please describe in as much detail as possible what kind of mask you're looking for. The colour that you'd like the mask to be would be preferred, but all of our masks will be charmed to coordinate with your chosen outfit as soon as both items are put on together. When making your requests for corsages, boutonnières, or bouquets, please include your flower and colour preferences as well.
Additionally, if you feel that you are particularly exceptional with artistic talent and I didn't invite you along on this endeavor, you're free to offer your services. And, now, for the prices:
Masquerade Masks - 2 galleons, 9 sickles. Price varies when the request is particularly difficult. Boutonnières - 7 sickles. Corsages - 11 sickles. Bouquet (small) - 1 galleon. Bouquet (medium) - 1 galleon, 9 sickles. Bouquet (large) - 2 galleons.
WARDED AGAINST HEADS/PREFECTS & SHILOH WOOD: My apologies to those of you who lost money by betting on Hufflepuff, though I was rather pleased by the outcome, myself. There is, however, another game coming up on Saturday the 24th between Slytherin and Gryffindor! It's a rather important game, considering the winning team will, indeed, be in the final game of the year.
Now, who do you think will win? And are you willing to put your money where your mouth is? Place your bets here, Hogwarts. | | Saturday, December 25th, 2010 | | 11:23 am |
I've spun a globe. Twice. After landing on Haiti, I decided to give it a second spin. We'll (Harrietta and I, that is) be going to Greece for a couple of days over the Easter hols. Has anyone ever been and, if so, top three things you liked about it? But if you haven't been and ever wanted to go, top three things you would have liked to have seen or done upon going?
In other news, I'm incredibly wet. I believe a certain book fiend is the culprit. I was merely heading into my dorm and now I'm bloody soaked. I don't even know how you pulled it off, Austin. | | Tuesday, November 23rd, 2010 | | 1:42 pm |
"Things are not always what they seem; the first appearance deceives many; the intelligence of a few perceives what has been carefully hidden." - PHAEDRUS |
I have a curiosity that I'd like satisfied. How old were you when you had your first crush, who was it on, and did they ever find out? WARDED AGAINST HEADS, PREFECTS, AND SHILOH WOOD:Yet another Quidditch match is sneaking up on us. The last round between Slytherin and Hufflepuff ended with Hufflepuff's tail between their legs. Both teams, coincidentally, have a win against Ravenclaw and a loss to Gryffindor under their belts since the first time they were pitted against one another. Will Dimitar Dachev's team once again crush the badgers? Will Aurelia Lawson have a new trick up her sleeve? I know where my money rides, but where does yours? Slytherin vs. Hufflepuff. Saturday. Place your bets, people. | | Wednesday, October 13th, 2010 | | 4:29 pm |
To those of you feeling the rising panic in your chest at the thought of your OWLs or NEWTs creeping up on you? Sucks to be you. Kidding. To the seventh years, you're nearly free. In six months, you'll be freed from Hogwarts for the rest of your lives. You'll have finished your exams and be off to doing better things. As for you fifth years, just remember that you'll have it much, much easier next year. No major exams to worry about until it's time for the NEWTs. If you're still stuck on how the exams are closing in, slowly but surely, I also happen to retain my notes every year. Perdita Parkinson: Expert Note Taker, here.
I, however, am going to enjoy the perks of being in that nice little in-between year where your studies aren't quite as panic inducing. Would anyone be interested in dueling me? I wouldn't mind testing my skills. Alternatively, I'm also looking for someone to play a game of chess with.
WARDED AGAINST HEADS/PREFECTS: It's plain to see, no matter who you are, that captains Shiloh Wood and Violetta Smith are riding their teams hard in preparation for the current match. It's rare these days to take a stroll out by the Quidditch pitch and not see one of the teams taking in a few extra practice hours when it's available. Will Cora Finnigan -- with an Irish temper running in her blood -- or Felicity Macmillan -- the sweetest girl I've ever met -- manage to snatch the snitch? Will hard work or the daring required to risk a new move pay off?
Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff. Saturday. Place your bets, people.
WARDED TO FELICITY MACMILLAN: Where should I send contributions to your charity drive and, should you need or want assistance, I'm available. | | Friday, October 1st, 2010 | | 12:48 am |
First, who did you kiss at midnight? Second, what's the first thing you did this year? | | Thursday, September 9th, 2010 | | 10:11 pm |
